{Lauren Bush} Colorado prairie wedding
Not sure if I am more in love with the landscape of Lauren Bush's wedding, or that wedding dress that mixes my two favorite things - vintage lace and a low back! Oh, and I need to plan a trip to Colorado. Pronto.

{always look up}
I had to share these images that I came across on Design*Sponge earlier. I always look up when walking around new and old places, but usually find myself focusing in on the architecture. I can't believe I have missed so much unique beauty that Sivan Askayo has found in looking up at, what else, laundry! What a great new perspective.

My new infatuation of pink has spread to my kitchen with Himalayan sea salt.

{it's in the cards}
Instead of wasting obsolete business cards after moving, Linus Chen created stamps for Kinetic to make better use for these little cards. Genius!
{hot cocoa} peppermint surprise
One of my favorite sections in HomeGoods is the kitchen appliances/pantry items because you never know what great things you will come across. Last visit I was able to get Melville's Peppermint Flavoring Spoons to kick my hot cocoa up a notch. Along with steamed milk, this little peppermint dose is the perfect winter acquaintance.

{Olsson's Fine Food}
I've been craving cheese from Olsson's Fine Food since I first tasted their Bucherondin over the summer. Walking around the peaceful Palmers Square this week, I just had to stop into the store and pick some more up. I somehow was able to leave with just the cheese, even though major damage can be done in here.

{Happy Thanksgiving}
Each Thanksgiving Day, besides over indulging in food, I always start my morning watching Laurel and Hardy's March of the Wooden Soldiers. I'm not sure why it's played on this day, but I look forward Stan's expressions & Toyland every year [the bogeymen seem less & less scary as the years go by].

{good eats} Mediterra Restaurant and Tavern
As I said earlier... my plan through winter [especially this week off] is to eat my way through it. When I go to Princeton, Mediterra is the first place I head, and, rightfully so.

{baked} pumpkin pie
Number one thing I love about Fall holidays? Baking a delicious pumpkin pie. I always have some leftover pie filling, so instead of dumping it, I started making these tiny 'personal' pies. Voila!

{good eats} El Rey Restaurant
I read about the amazing dishes at El Rey online after some research on Philadelphia restaurants and I am so glad I did! The 'old-diner' ambiance and authentic dishes were even better than anticipated. To accompany the pomegranate sangria, I ordered the Fried Egg Chilaquiles - crunchy chips swimming in salsa verde, topped with cotija cheese and runny eggs... this is a dish that I could definitely eat every week without getting sick of it!

{set} fall/winter collection
The aesthetic of this set clothing collection is great - almost reminds me of All Saints, but 'tough'ed down.

{happy Friday}
Happy Friday friends! I am heading to Jersey to the family's house for a little 'staycation' starting tomorrow and am super excited to spend some quality time with friends and family - going for a weekend and trying to fit everything/everyone into 1 day has become too much!
I have plenty of fun things planned - going to Philly, shopping in Princeton, 10-year reunion [gasp] and most importantly, my Birthday!! Off to R&R...
{take me home tonight}
