I read about the amazing dishes at
El Rey online after some research on Philadelphia restaurants and I am so glad I did! The 'old-diner' ambiance and authentic dishes were even better than anticipated. To accompany the pomegranate sangria, I ordered the Fried Egg Chilaquiles - crunchy chips swimming in salsa verde, topped with cotija cheese and runny eggs... this is a dish that I could definitely eat every week without getting sick of it!
