{Living With} Chronic Bitch Face

I had to re-post this.  I may be one of the easiest people to make laugh, and am usually happy, but I am not one of those people who walks with a perma-grin on their face.  Which then leads to the random 'smile' & 'cheer up' from creepy strangers...

Plus...that's literally how I usually look with the glasses [just not as bitchface'd, I hope].

B&D Wedding

A very creative friend of mine just sent out her invitations for her upcoming nuptials and I can't believe she made them herself!  Her wedding is going to be in an old power plant/warehouse in Philly, her best friend is creating her wedding dress....all I can say is that I cannot wait until her special day to see how everything is pulled together!!

Hey, Mr. Postman

My most recent job at a branding company gave me a deep appreciation of all things Letterpress.  In a world of social networking, emails, mass production and an overall lack of personal communication, getting a letterpressed invitation in the mail gives the receiver a new level of personalized interaction with the sender.  Call me old fashioned, but I love library books, vinyl records and having a reason to send someone my letterpressed thank you cards to a friend.  The touch. The feel. I love it all.

I came across an amazingly talented letterpress studio, Studio On Fire, that makes me look forward to one day getting married and being able to design a gorgeous personalized work of art. Not only do they produce these masterpieces, but they design, too.  The work speaks for itself.
