{White Hot}

Walking along cobblestones during yesterday's warm & sunny day made me realize how much I NEED the summer to come, and these white Club Monaco pieces are just what my closet needs.  To start, at least.

{style} concrete jungle mix-up

This is my Manhattan "office chic" look today (I apologize for some wrinkles, that's what the train can do to you).  I got inspired to mix it up after uncovering this leopard belt I found recently that I purchased in Marshall's when I was in High School.

Guess where I finally stopped for a delicious iced chai latte?  Here is a clue.

Need. Willpower.

Club Monaco is by far one of my favorite stores to frequent when I need great, long-lasting, tailored pieces for my work wardrobe.  Luckily, for my wallet, the closest one is a a 30-45 minute drive so it is not often that I find myself walking through those black wood and glass doors.  But now, ahhh, Club Monaco has set up shop with a Holiday capsule collection at online retail mecca Shopbop while we wait for their own e-commerce site to launch next summer.  Flouncing blouses, menswear-inspired suiting pieces and an AMAZING cotton sweatshirt jumper, all to your hearts content.   Oh, wait, do you see the plaid coat with leather trim?!  Happy Holidays to me!
