A simple happy hour pit-stop last night at 230 Fifth Avenue not only brought me to a rooftop Tiki escape in the middle of Manhattan (and a bit of an 80's/Pee Wee's Playhouse vibe inside), but opened my eyes to a new version of calamari. Once I saw the accompanying sweet chili dipping sauce on the menu, I had to order it and was pleasantly surprised with the flavor and lightness to even out the fried treat. Sooo much better than the usual marinara sauce.
