Arts in the Plaza {St. Maarten}

So, after a very lucky 2-day extension to my trip, I am back to the grind.  The first night of my stay at Porto Cupecoy was spend at their "Arts in the Plaza" event, where local visual & performing artists exhibit their work.  There was great music, artwork and a great young dance group that I could have watched for hours-everything combined really set the stage for a cultural gathering of what St. Maarten/St. Martin is really about.

I would be depressed with this rainy, dreary day after last Friday's 74 degree weather, BUT, Wednesday morning I will be off to the warm & lovely St. Maarten for a long weekend trip!  Can't wait to share my adventure with you : )
