Saturday was one of those simple, fun days in NYC with a friend made in London...a trip to the MoMA to see the Andy Warhol:Motion Pictures, good conversation over food & de-lish white ale (with an adorable fat owl on the bottle) and, most importantly, Iron & Wine for my first experience at Radio City Music Hall.  Love these days.

Don't get me wrong, I am never happier than when looking through the new collections every day during all of the Fashion Weeks, that is, until I am able to look at photography of the attendees.  Especially when seen through the eyes of Tommy Ton.  The shots capture the classic style of Milan effortlessly!  So chic!

I am really being pulled toward all of the punches of orange across the pages of magazines & on the red carpet recently.  It's vibrant, refreshing & is the perfect shade for the summer months.  I just hope I can find the right color to go with red hair!

Made of New York Furniture Collection is crafted of discarded Manhattan lumber & built into gorgeous one-of-a-kind pieces using as few machines as possible.  The collection was created by a former creative director of Ikea Sweden, John-Michael Ekeblad, furniture designer Jonathan Locke and timber-sourcing expert Brian Kane, all done in their South Bronx studio.  These naturally worn masterpieces are available online at NewYorkCitysnaps.

I walked by the Louis Vuitton uptown today & saw the cutest owl looking back at me!  You know I love a cute owl!  Each animal has been created by an array of LV products, though the rabbit one is a little scary, I think this is one of my favorite displays in a loooong time.

Stella!

Stella McCartney's Autumn 2011 Collection is now online and I'm really drawn to the updated Man Men'esque inspired pieces.  The new, more tailored over-sized shapes that is Stella's specialty is so much more put together & work appropriate than some of the styles out there of season's past.  And, can we talk about that black dress!?
